ID Eight embodies infinity of the process and the ability to regenerate materials. These eco-sustainable sneakers are made with waste from the food and recycling industries. The goal of this sustainable project was to launch sneakers, made in Italy with circular design in mind. All the shoes are made with innovative sustainable materials, unisex, with a refined design that recalls the 90s.
The materials used are mainly three types. 1)Imitation leather deriving from by-products of agricultural or industrial activities that process the fruit: pineapple imitation leather; wine leatherette and apple leatherette which are obtained respectively from the bio-polymerization of the inedible parts. Lycra and mesh for inserts on the upper, sole, laces and label are made of recycled materials. The packaging itself is designed as a tool to positively affect the environment: the box is made of recycled paper and inside you will find a “seed bomb”: a ball of earth and flower seeds covered with clay. Plant it in a vase or to throw in a garden in your city to attract bees. A small gesture for better biodiversity!
