We’ve had some great news from one of Slow Nature’s fabulous brands – Aspis. Their motto is ‘wear the life’ and they certainly do. Check out these photos from a recent initiative which saw the company plant 200 oak trees in Northern Italy’s Po Valley.

You can see the small acorns that will become seedlings by the autumn, ready to be transplanted into the ground.

We will keep an eye on – Aspis for more details on how they plan to create a forest. Yes, a forest! This is just the first stage of a new project.

It’s all part of Aspis’ philosophy of urban design. In fact, creator Pietro was inspired to make his t-shirt brand after witnessing the devastating damage done to his beloved Dolomite forests. His anguish went into designing the ‘I do not debate’ tee featuring the symbols of a deer and the badly damaged trees. 25% of the profits go to the ‘Emerald City’ scheme to plant at least one hundred thousand trees over the next three years.  Of course, all the t-shirts meet Slow Nature’s rigorous sustainable standards as they are FairWear certified and made from 100% organic cotton.

Ciao Elena, grazie per la domanda. Ecco la risposta per te: Aspis ha due terreni al momento, uno a Vezzano sul Crostolo e uno a Sorbara. Il vivaio per la crescita delle piante è a Modena città.
